Who is responsible
This website is operated by Paulo Custódio, an independent technology consultant based in Lisbon, Portugal. He is the controller of the personal data described below. Contact: hello@paulocustodio.tech.
What data is collected
Only what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, the service you are interested in, the tools you use (optional) and your message. If you email me directly, I receive your email address and whatever you write.
Why it is used, and on what basis
- To reply to your inquiry and, if you ask for it, to prepare a proposal or start working together. The basis is your consent (the checkbox on the form) and steps taken at your request before a contract.
- To keep a record of the conversation for as long as it is needed to follow up. The basis is my legitimate interest in running my business.
Your data is not sold, and it is not used for advertising or automated decision-making.
Who can access it
Only service providers needed to receive and store your message: my email provider, my web hosting provider, and HubSpot, the CRM where form submissions are stored. They process data on my behalf. If any of them is located outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the safeguards required by the GDPR.
How long it is kept
For as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting work, and afterwards only as long as there is a legal or legitimate business reason. If nothing comes of an inquiry, it is deleted within a reasonable period. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts are hosted on this site, so no request is sent to third-party font services. Like any web server, the hosting provider may keep technical logs (such as IP address and time of visit) for security and operation.
Your rights
You may ask me to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect what was done before). Write to hello@paulocustodio.tech. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with an updated date.
